Seeded Loaf (23rd Dec pick-up)
Our seeded loaf. Based on the village loaf, we add lentils, chia seeds, camelina seeds then roll on linseed. All British grown seeds. Some say it's an expression of British farmland.
Lentils are soaked and sprouted, which makes them softer and more digestible. Camelina seeds add savoury notes to the bread. Chia seeds give a popping texture. Linseeds are toasted while baking, making the crust toasty and nutty.
A wonderful bread for soup, stew, sandwiches, or anything.
